The Titan T-51 Mustang is an Ohio-born aircraft that is three-quarters the size of the P-51 Mustang, also wildly popular at North American air shows. The T-51 is the product of the Titan Aircraft Company in South Austinburg, Ohio but the aircraft is being flown in many countries where are popular with pilots too. It is a homebuilt aircraft, giving the pilots the choice between a basic kit (where they choose their own propeller, engine and instruments) or a complete kitset that is ready to assemble.
The plane is a two-seat aircraft that offers remarkable performance in spite of the small engine that powers it. The aircraft has a stall speed of as slow as 39 mph and a top speed of 197 mph.
The lightweight of the plane combined with the power of the engine gives it performance capabilities not seen in other aircraft.
